Bajaj pulsar-150-DTS-i is powered by the most refined engine by Bajaj Auto. It houses air cooled, 4 stroke, DTS-i engine with a displacement of 149.01cc. This high powered mill churns a peak power of 14.09 Ps at 8500 rpm and a top torque of 12.76Nm at 6500 rpm. Bajaj Pulsar bikes are now fitted with its patented technology DTS-i (Digital Twin Spark- ignition). This technology promises better mileage, power, acceleration and speed. In order to control the spark delivery a digital CDI chip is provided. Other innovation of Bajaj is Throttle Response System III (TRICS III). It handles the ignition by operating the throttle.

On the other hand, Bajaj pulsar-180-DTS-i comes with a 178.60cc power mill. The power and torque figures also increased in the right proportion of engine. This machine generates a maximum power of 17.02Ps at 8500 rpm and a maximum torque of 14.22Nm at 6500 rpm. The same added technologies are used in the power train.

Bajaj pulsar-220-DTS-i houses the best mill in the heart of the beast. The beast is powered by a 220cc power mill with biggest carburetor-32mm Ucal UCD 32 venturi. This the only Pulsar series bike that is oil cooled. It develops maximum power of awesome 21.04Ps at 8500 rpm while maximum torque is 19.12Nm at 7000 rpm. The top speed of the bike is 144 kmph. That's why, this machine is called the fastest Indian. All the Pulsar series bikes incorporate five speed gearbox. The gear pattern is one down four up.
